Hermine A. Wynter Scholarship
The grant is intended to be awarded to an international undergraduate student in need of financial assistance in the last 2 semesters of a bachelor’s program.
The Foundation will award the scholarship to one well-deserving, academically promising student who meets the criteria below. The financial assistance it provides will cover any tuition balance up to $1,700 per academic semester that is not covered by federal or state aid.
The scholarship will remain in place for the duration of the recipient’s last 2 semesters of their Bachelor’s program at Monroe University provided he or she maintains a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 and complies with the Foundation’s guidelines.
To be considered for this scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:
Be of Caribbean descent
In the final 2 semesters of a 4-year bachelor’s degree at Monroe University
Maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.0
